I am 5 ft 1 and very petite "I am 5 ft 1 and very petite so I was looking for small structured backpack carrier and wasn’t sure if one existed, this one is 51cm high/tall which is great for me. I have tried less compact ones (about 70cm high) and I’ve felt as though I was going to fall over and was very unbalanced. This one fits my back perfectly and doesn’t sit above my head. I can even have it higher or lower on the waist depending how tight the shoulder straps are. My little one loves it and he’s very happy to be carried this way. I’ve not tried it for long distances yet, don’t get me wrong it’s abit of a workout when I use it but I am usually out 30 mins-1 hour with the dog and it does the job. All round very happy!
