This is a great bit of kit. "This is a great bit of kit. It takes on the look of a fully functioning geodesic storm tent. This will be a faff to put up in high winds however. I am a seasoned camper and it took me as long to erect my main tent as it did to put this thing up. I suppose it's meant to look impressive and it certainly is as beach shelters go. Practically, the poles are reasonably cheap. I have several fibre splinters in my hands (a bugger to get out and a pain to endure) so wear gloves We shall see how it fairs against the great British weather next week tho. So far I'm happy with my purchase. The 15% off makes this a very affordable purchase in uncertain times. I wouldn't have paid £40 (original selling price) Great thing but not perfect." — Tom (4/5)
I have had this tent a few "I have had this tent a few years and it is very well made and good quality. Very compact and once you know how to assemble it it’s easy.. the sand pockets are great, used this in Spain (July) and it does get hot which is expected though. I was able to take the tent on the plane as hand luggage. I contacted EasyJet who explained as long as I removed the poles. That was fine as not needed on the sand. All in all a compact tent that does the job and I feel safe it’s protective from the UV rays." — Jenny (5/5)
I love this little beach "I love this little beach shelter! I bought it approximately six years ago. It has been all over the world with my daughters and I and used every summer. It’s perfect for tropical showers to keep everything dry until it passes, it’s a changing room now that they’re older, it’s a picnic storage....it’s one of my best ever childhood purchases. The quality is great, it’s really easy to put up single handedly and it’s very compact to travel with. I couldn’t recommend it more - you’ll get lots of comments on the beach too!" — Annette O. (5/5)
Review of Compact Beach Shelter by Colin "Bought this for our 4 month old, for a week of sun in Cornwall. I can't comment on how hot it gets inside as we didn't get any sun, but with no front(door) I've no doubt it'll be fine. I can however comment on how well it performed in the wind and rain lol! With sand in the pockets it stayed put nicely and the rain beaded and rolled off like any quality tent would. I enjoy camping and will take good time when purchasing a tent. I would say that this beach 'tent' is as well made as any decent big tent and I was more than satisfied with it.
